There are several ways to be a part of the Nebraska Railroad Museum and the Fremont & Elkhorn Valley Railroad!

Become an NRM NRHS Chapter Member - annual dues are $59.00.  As an NRM NRHS Chapter Member, you are invited to take part in all aspects of the Nebraska Railroad Museum Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society and the Fremont & Elkhorn Valley Railroad.  Your dues are used to support railroad operations. In addition, NRM NRHS Chapter Members have voting rights within the Chapter.

• The ability to share your voice in the railroad through membership meetings and the right to vote.

Becoming a Local Supporter at the $20.00 annual level allows you to volunteer your talents on the Fremont & Elkhorn Valley Railroad and work with a group of enthusiastic people who are devoted to preserving a fine piece of railroad heritage in Eastern Nebraska.


VOLUNTEER

The Fremont and Elkhorn Valley Railroad is a volunteer run organization. Volunteers of all ages and backgrounds are welcome.  No railroad experience is necessary - we can even train you to become a certified engineer if you wish!

There are a variety of volunteer opportunities, all with flexible schedules:

To join the railroad you click the Membership Application link below, print the application, fill it in, and mail it to us at the address provided on the form, along with the appropriate dues.
